Denim was born in 1978 and is 12.1 grey mare and mother to Tarragon and Calico and grandmother to Arran.
Denim has been a Ranger pony since the Harwich Troop was formed in 1990. She is kind and gentle, and has taught many children to ride who have now bought their children to learn to ride. She mothered not only her own foals Tarragon and Calico, but also adopted Bracken when he was a foal and lost his mother and Arran when his mother Tarragon refused to feed him! She is registered with The British Horse Society passport no. 826004500168881.
She is currently retired from work but occasionally joins in when she's feeling lively and then all the Rangers call out "Yeeha Grandma".
